[Iowa-dx] Results of a brief experiment

As some of you may know, I keep an eye on DailyKos.  Today's traffic was
especially interesting in light of Lamont's victory in Connecticut. 
Just to see how it would be received, I posted a copy of the GP press
release on UN Res 377 as a diary entry on the site.  The link to the
page is below.  Most of the comments are...interesting, to say the least
(some physically impossible).  I thought the admission in the first
reply was quite indicative of many in the Democratic party these days.

Read and enjoy if you wish.  I suspect that those few progressives left
in the party who happen across the responses will enjoy being reminded
of just how welcome their views are in the party of Jefferson and
Lincoln (who might well be Green if they were resurrected today).
