[Iowa-dx] What's Next?

Rick Johnson's 2006 election predictions were off the mark, but his
prescription for Iowa Greens is right on! May I add better organizational
efforts within the counties, especially those with a sizeable Green
presence, i.e. Blackhawk, Linn, Johnson and Scott. While Iowa Greens will
never be able to approach the funding of Democans and Republicats, we are
still short on every state member making monthly or annual donations. When
I left the position as state treasurer last spring, we had just three
members donating on a monthly basis. While there are members who
periodically write checks, you can't beat monthly electronic donations from
your checking account to Premier Bank of Dubuque! Can anyone say that $2
per month to the Iowa Green Party will break their lifestyle??
Candidates? Sure, they are needed as well as reliable funding to help them
make their presence known to Iowa voters!
I'm sure state treasurer, Ray Meyer, would welcome your inquiries as to how
to make this happen!
