Well here's what's giving me a headache: one woman I spoke to here =20
who was a very enthusiastic supporter of Wendy is also =20
enthusiastically hoping for Hilary in'08. (Yes, Clinton.) I'm hoping =20
MTV will have a Celebrity Death Match between John Conyers and Kenneth =20
Blackwell....
In the meantime, Ted is right - a couple dollars or $5 - $10 a month =20
adds up. Just think, next time we try all-counties-covered caucuses, =20
we would have the money up front to pay for all the ads! Or, travel =20
fare for a few days' tour of Iowa by - ?? (potential Green '08 =20
candidate).
That reminded me of my promise, that once I was paid back the infamous =20
loan, I would sign up to donate on a monthly basis. So, Ray, please =20
post the info on electronic funds transfer here, for those who are =20
interested in signing up.

Quoting Richard Johnson <seiowagreen@fastmail.fm>:
> LOL...yes, much to my pleasant surprise the House is out of GOP control.

> he resigns Governor Gibbons will likely appoint a Republican to fill
> that seat. So my prediction there may still come to pass.
