[Iowa-dx] outreach to people who expressed interest in the campaign

FYI, all of these people were on a "campaign newsletter" list, so they =20
haev reeived 3 to 5 messagess from the campaign.  At the end, they =20
were asked if they wanted to continue to receive information, and =20
about 5 responded.  I re-configured the old <iagpnews> list, so we =20
could send out a newsletter every other month or so, and post =20
announcements of chapter meetings or events.  That list is set up with =20
a generic e-mail address so various individuals can use it.


The idea is that this would be for people who just want to keep =20
apprised of what's happening.  If we take Wendy's adviceand contact =20
people in or near our areas on this list and if any are interested in =20
becoming more involved, perhaps even setting up a local chapter, then =20
they should be invited to join this "dx" list.  (Two of the Woodbury =20
County contacts, Keith Suntherland and David Grimesy, are already on =20
here.)  Rick Johnson and I are the "admins" and can subscribe people =20
directly.

If you find someone interested in setting up a new chapter, we have a =20
"start-up packet" - very basic directions on how to set up, sample =20
bylaws, resources list, etc.  I have copies of this stuff, if needed.
