GOod ideas, imo, but I bet there wuld be a lot of difficulty in trying =20
for quarterly meetings - but why not try for conference calls, at least?

Concerning a newsletter, I think it's unreasonable to expect this can =20
be passed around from county to county; also, I think a bi-monthly =20
newsletter may be a better option at the moment (frequency can =20
increase, of course, as business and news pick up).  What we need are =20
people willing to oversee this for a period of time.  If Ted is =20
willing to start it up again, I'm willing to pick it up in 6 mos' time.

Earlier I wrote here a suggestion of using the old "iagpnews" list for =20
that, for people who may want to keep apprised of green news in Iowa, =20
but not necessarily become more involved than that.  A newsletter =20
would go to this list as well as the usual work/dx/local lists; I also =20
set up an email address from which this could be sent, if wanted.
