Well, I do not know where you get your misinformation from, but let us
take this one step at a time.
FIRST: Feminists generally (not always) advocate for female equality. It
is a myth that feminists want females to be superior. We run in this same
misconception with African American rights, same-sex sexual orientation
rights, and so forth.
Feminism is an equality movement, not a superiority movement. That is not
to say that feminists are not defensive or militant in the face of
discrimination and/or abuse.
SECOND: you need to get an accurate definition (not "dictionarion") of
"socialism". Do not refer to the "dictionary" which is nothing but a
catalogue of mis-used words! We do not have "definitionaries" to give us
proper meanings for words!
SOCIALISM is merely Democracy, as it refers to the social control of the
poliltical system, social =3D society. Socialism does not have to be any
more fair than a vigilante committee, however . Only in Democracy is
there a protection system to prevent abuse of the weak and helpless.
Forget this crap that our capitalist Establishment propagandizes about
socialism distributing wealth and taking over business, that comes from
the royalists and corporatists (the English monarchy invented the
corporation to control investors and businesses).
There is nothing about socialism that makes anyone be dependent except
for the dependency of the public upon the political institution to be
fair and honest, which our USA is definitely not fair and honest -- our
nation represents the corporations and the wealthy elite over the
majority in the public!
The rationale behind the diatribe against socialism is that socialism
prevents the powerful and wealthy elite and their businesses from
urinating on the public and on the environment. True socialism would
NEVER advocate a take-over of business and a "guarantee" for subsistence
to the public, as that would overthrow the economic system that keeps the
public in a beneficial economic and social position. Indeed, it is the
other way around, the anti-socialists want to subdue and abuse the
general public, to make society be an economic slave and a consumer
prostitute to the powerful and wealthy Establishment! THERE is the true
issue!

In a round about way they are relying on men; even though, women are
making headway; there still are men who still run some of our biggest
establishments; for instance the head of the world bank is a man and

Your premise assumes that everyone getting a government handout,
including all people on welfare, and all corporations, including
Halliburton and all the airlines, who are receiving government
subsidies, are feminist or run by feminists. Since this is not true,
your premise fails. Therefore, there is no way to answer your

You mean...corporate welfare like the giant multi-billion bailout of
Bear Stearns that the Bush admin has just brokered?
Welfare like the giant tax breaks oil companies, which are reporting
record profits, are making from the Republican administration?
That kind of "socialistic government handout"?
So...is it "moral" to hand Bear Stearns billions of dollars of
taxpayer money because they were stupid, but it's "immoral" to take
care of some poor children in our back yard?
If the day ever comes when that makes sense to me, I hope it's the
last day of my life.

A lot of them do when they are in college and living in a world of theory
And then a lot of them become "social liberals and economic
conservatives" the first time they have to file there taxes or really
need more money than they are making (like when they want to buy a house)

Call them what you will, but some government services are good for
people. Feminists tend to believe that nobody should have to be
without things like health care or Social Security for any reason.
When we experimented with private cataract surgery in Canada, costs
went up, wait times went up, and quality of care went down; needless
to say, we won't be doing that again.
Also, unfettered capitalism doesn't happen. It would if enough people
wanted it to, but they haven't so far

feminists as a group.
For example:
Margaret Thatcher - the world's most influential feminist was against
all of that and actually proved it by allowing people to buy their
own homes and be more financially independent.
So why make this a gender issue? Many socialists are men and many are
women - it has nothing to do with feminism.

They find it more appealing to be "married" to a government check.
Some of the middle-class ones prefer to be dependent on a boss and
his good will. I say, why not be dependent on someone who actually
loves you? A check can't read the kids a bedtime story. And a boss
does not care when you're feeling overworked or exhausted. If it's
one of the three, why not a husband?

nment check. Some of the middle-class ones prefer to be dependent on a boss=
and his good will. I say, why not be dependent on someone who actually lov=
es you? A check can't read the kids a bedtime story. And a boss does not ca=
re when you're feeling overworked or exhausted. If it's one of the three, w=
