"We can't allow all of this pro-Democracy shit ta happin' in My Amerika,"
warned Pseudo US President George Warcrimes Bush.
"We have ta respekt thuh eemurging countries that our corporashuns have
embraysed for their offshore reelokashun of US industree and for who...
who... whom we have made great strides ta make loans come at a great cost
to My US government so they will remain our allies, such as China."
Due to the risks of anti-war demonstrators from Iowa City arriving to
show the rest of the country what real patriotism is, the Olympic torch
was received for its only northern American stop with heavy
secret security on Tuesday, a day after its ill-fated visit to Paris
descended into chaos. Although not from Iowa City, activists from the
San Francisco Bay area and central California climbed the Golden Gate
Bridge to make a protest to China's historic and overt human rights
violation record.
International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge responded by
saying that the Committee's executive board would meet on Friday to
decide whether to end the international Beijing Olympic torch relay,
because of widespread protests around the world.
"This is dispikkable," George Warcrimes Bush sputtered. "This is an
insult ta My good friends in China, who I have made extensive investmints
inta with My Daddy and his friends in high places. This Demokrassy thing
has got ta end, it's makin' a bad immage in the world!"
The appearance of the Olympic torch in a world-wide journey was supposed
to propagandize China's growing economic and political power now that
Wal-Mart has moved its industrial supplier factories there to undercut US
standard of living for workers and eliminate trade, monopoly
anti-trust and environmental laws. But activists keep bringing up the
facts of China's human rights violations and the policies that lead
to the brutally recent crackdown on Tibet.
Human rights advocates have been protesting at major cities and all along
the 85,000-mile route of the Olympic torch ever since the start of the
flame's spark began in Ancient Olympia in Greece, to begin its journey to
Beijing, where China wants to egocentrically host the 2008 Summer
Olympics without repurcussions for the China abuses of freedom-seeking
people.
Rogge said to the Associated Press that he was "deeply saddened" by the
energetic and enthusiastic protests for democracy and decency in London
and Paris, and he said that he was concerned about what could happen with
the relay in San Francisco where there is a huge contingent of
pro-Democracy activists, who expressed concerned admonishments that the
torch's planned route through Tibet would bring China's tyrannical
government to arrest and violently murder pro-Democracy advocates in
Tibet, such measures by Chinese officials trying to stifle dissent which
have already been demonstrated.
But, San Francisco Olympic Torch Relay Committee spokesman David Perry
said that the flame arrived by plane in San Francisco at almost 4 a.m.,
and then in secrecy, it was immediately put inside a special
security vehicle and was spirited away to a secret location. Security was
tightened because several pro-Democracy advocacy protests were planned
before the torch's six-mile relay would be able to begin on Wednesday.=20
"We treated it like a head of state visit," airport spokesman Mike
McCarron said. "We have guards with automatic pistols and machineguns to
guard the flame from assassination." Indeed, an Olympic flame
relay runner for the San Francisco relay decided to opt out of the relay,
because because of safety concerns that the runner might become
influenced by Democracy, Perry said. The runner who dropped out was not
identified, but Perry said he understood the concern that Demo cracy
might be an infective mental disorder.
The three climbers who scaled the Golden Gate Bridge towers on Monday,
and tied the Tibetan flag and two banners to its cables, managed to make
an impact on passing traffic on the roadway underneath. Their
three banners read "One World One Dream. Free Tibet," and "Free Tibet
08," and included a flag of Tibet. They later climbed down when bridge
workers came up and cut down the banners. The organizers for the Golden
Gate Bridge protest said that they would remain faithful to their mission
of nonviolence during the torch relay. But, they asserted that they
wanted to take full advantage of the international spotlight to get their
message out. "This is a life-or-death situation for Tibetans," said
Yangchen Lhamo, one of the organizers for the banner-hanging protest, who
is on the board of directors of Students for a Free Tibet.

The Communist Party premier of the Tibet department says that his region
is stable after they had experienced the anti-government riots last
month. But he warned of possible sabotage against the Olympic torch
relay, the state media reported on Sunday, by the official Xinhua News
Agency, Zhang Qingli, "that the social order in Lhasa and other parts of
Tibet has resumed (as) normal." He said that he has had beautiful
cooperation from the United States of America in training his police and
militia on how to handle pro-Democracy demonstrations to keep those
demonstrations from disrupting the local tyranny.
Tensions have been simmering in the Tibetan capital and in Tibetan areas
of nearby provinces since before anti-government protests exploded in
mid-March into violence. Chinese authorities reported that 22 people
advocating Democracy have accidently died in anti-Beijing riots that
broke out March 14 in Lhasa. In contradiction, the Tibetan
self-proclaimed government-in-exile asserted that up to 140 pro-Democracy
advocates were killed by Chinese police and militia in the protests and
ensuing crackdown. And last week, eight more pro-Democracy advocates
were killed when police or paramilitary police shot them down in
a pro-Democracy protest in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, in nearby
Sichuan province, several anonymous secret overseas activist groups
reported.
The Tibetan protests have become the most overt and sustained challenge
to China's 57-year rule in the Himalayan region. The protests
have highlighted increased international scrutiny and criticism on China
in the run-up to this summer's Olympic Games. China's egocentric
propaganda campaign has plans to take the Olympic torch to Tibet twice,
to rub it in the face of pro-Democracy advocates. One torch will be taken
up Mount Everest, the world's tallest peak, in early May, while the
regular torch will go through Lhasa in June. But Zhang warned, "...that
grave challenges remain ahead, as the Dalai clique is plotting for new
sabotage activities to promote their vile pro-Democracy agenda to disrupt
The People's government."
"We're right behind ya," assured George Warcrimes Bush, "we need ta send
ta the world a message that ya can't get away with stirrin' up trouble ta
cause Demokrassy."
"We're ready to transfer Boeing to China any month now," agreed John
McCain. "We cannot have any disruptions in the economic process of the
Global Economy."
