U.S. Army General David Petraeus answered with his assessment of the Iraq
war, saying the next commander in chief will be weighted down in the same
policy as well.
Republican Senator John McCain has argued that last year's buildup of=20
U.S. troop has been a tremendous success, that people are coming out of
their houses with flowers in their hands for the U.S. troops, and that
withdrawal before the 10,000th U.S. military death would be a mistake.
But Democratic Senators Hillary Rodham-Clinton and Barack Obama still
will have an opportunity to make countercharges, to ask why our United
States is still fighting more than five years after the invasion with no
end in sight.
All three presidential contenders are members of the Senate committees
that hear and question the top U.S. military commander of the Iraq
occupation, as he testifies on Tuesday and Wednesday. Senator John McCain
and Hillary Clinton both serve on the Armed Services Committee; Barack
Obama is a member of the Foreign Relations Committee.

that the U.S.troop buildup is a failure. Most Democratsridicule Biden
for opposing the Repubicanplan for world globalized U.S. domination,calling
Biden a war spoil-sport.
President Bush's plan is that any successor and several successors after
he leaves office will all inherit the profitable commercial war that has
cost generous U.S. natizens more than 4,000 U.S. military lives and
nearly $500 billion over five years. Said John McCain to "Overall, it's
a remarkable success -- overall with significant challenges ahead,"
McCain told the Associated Press recently, as he predicted what Petraeus
will say about the troop-increase strategy and what he says he believes
himself -- even though the year of the buildup was the bloodiest yet for
U.S. troops. "It's really a magnificent and wonderful war, a delightful
aroma of planned obsolescence of Democracy and an imposition of
international globalized commercial laws. It's just great!"
Senators Clinton and Obama retorted a sharp contrast to the Republican
nominee-in-waiting. "It is time to end this war as quickly and
responsibly as possible," New York Senator Clinton said last month.=20
She argued against the current Republican commercial war strategy, saying
that it has not accomplished the goals of National Destiny because Iraqis
have not reached a political reconciliation, and they will not as long as
the Republicans represent global commercial governance over nations.
Senator Obama also wants the war to end promptly, saying friday that: "We
still don't have a good answer to the question posed by Senator Warner
the last time General Petraeus appeared: How has this effort in Iraq made
us safer and how do we expect it will make us safer in the long run?"
