It might depend on what name and address you're using.  Or, the fact that t=
he operations director was on maternity leave for a couple weeks and still =
not  full-time back in the office and even with assistants, some things fee=
l behind.

I can actually ask them what the problem is - it's probably some routine re=
jection based on name or address. On the other hand, if they know it's from=
 you and aren't asking for another donation, don't complaint!

Green Party US has refused my payment for my additional $50 of
the increased fee for attending the GP National Convention.  The
letter stated they do not accept contributions from corporations!!!!

This is the third time that GPUS has refused my personal cheque
with the statement that they do not accept contributions from
corporations!  Do I look like a corporation?  Do I look like I am a
business?  HOWEVER, the GP in Illinois who accepted my first
cheque for the original amount has me listed as on the roster of
attendees as having paid!  The rejection this time came from
Washington D.C.!!!

This may be connected with my now-discontinued attempt to move
to Washington D.C..   People I knew who are from the D.C. area
would talk to me about living in D.C., but whenever I asked them
to assist me in moving to D.C. by providing a mail-forwarding
address -- so that I would not be rejected by H.U.D. landlords if I
used my Iowa City address -- those peole I knew suddenly stopped
sending me return electronic messages.

I do not know what to say, but if GPUS will not accept my cheque to
pay for my attendence, then maybe they do not want me there.  This
is the THIRD time it has happened to me!
