[Iowa-dx] Can Iowa Help the McKinney Campaign Get FEC Matching Funds?!

To qualify for FEC matching funds, a presidential candidate muyst raise
$5000 from 20 states. Only the first $250 of a contribution can count
toward that amount. At this time, a few states have contributed the
$5000, and there is an actual possibility that the campaign could reach the
needed threshold by midnight tonight (I don't know what time zone Midnight
is, though). Surprisingly (imo), Iowans have contributed about $1,200 to
the McKinney campaign. If you're been thinking of contributing to the
McKinney campaign, now is a good time to do so, because contirbutions in
Iowa will go toward helping the campaign reach the goal for matching funds.
Please foprward this to local lists and contacts. While we're far from
$5000, you never know.....

right ten states raised by tonight, could put up over the top.
We have seen significant activity toward this goal in Arizona, Colorado,
Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts and Maryland, plus a scattering of other
donations from other states we're watching.
In the report below, the first number in the sum represents the unaudited
report of our FEC Compliance Team on July 17th, 2008. The second number
represents what we know is real in our still incomplete reconciliation with
the paypal reports. These numbers do not account for checks received since
the 17th, only online activity.

fray. Twenty-two callers have worked thirty-six shifts using the phone bank
application since the July 17th report. Additional callers have worked their
own rolodexes. These actions delivered the $6.6k outlines below.
Were we all to jump in this evening and help to work these lists we have,

is still possible to deliver the prize.
