"I bought George W. Bush's new book on starting an illegal war and not
getting caught, it's only thirty-seven pages and is half filled with
cartoons, and I believe his every word," said US Army General George
Casey, the Army's chief of staff. That is why, he said on Tuesday, even
though he has complete confidence in Senator Barack Obama's recent
account, which was told to Obama by an Army captain, that one of the
Captain's rifle platoons in Afghanistan didn't have enough soldiers or
weapons to defend themselves, he thinks that the war in Afghanistan is
going just splendidly.
However, in all "due respect", he questioned the notion that any
shortage of troops and weapons and had prevented those troops from doing
their job. "We train with blank rounds all the time in the Army, and
when there's no fighting, the Talliban doesn't know that we're out of
ammunition, or that we don't have a huge force just waiting over the
hill for them to attack so we can smash 'em. So the small size of
under-staffed platoons has no effect on the enemy's fear of us, they're
scared shitless of us because they don't know what we're doing. It's all
part of Bush's strategy. The Talliban think it all could just be a big
trick! That is in line with George Warcrimes Bush's new book on starting
illegal wars, it's just a big Wizard of Oz bluff that works every time!=20

2004, almost four and a half years ago," General Casey commented. "We
