Absolutely right! Also, which states are those who appoint theirdelegates=
?=20
That would be an interesting consideration whenGreen Party does its
campaigning and soliciting for new members. Does anyone know if it was
ONLY the Republican Party caucusin Iowa that was non-binding? Ron Kinum

In addition to the superdelegates [party elected officials and
operatives] that make up about 20% of the total number of delegates going
to the Democratic national convention, each state has its own rules about
its "elected" delegates. I haven't read every state yet, but starting
with Iowa and going down the list I was amazed at the number of
delegates to the Dem national convention from several states who are
appointed, at-large, allocated or otherwise not elected from their
primaries or caucuses. This further dilutes the influence of the
electorate. ...//... Remember folks, the USA is not a country but a
republic, and it's not a democracy. Kelley
