Well, I have to disagree, it is the entire process that is all wrong. It
was made for fools to "play" in. (sigh) There is nothing like the direct
vote action of the voters castingtheir own individual votes in a state
primary. The problem withthe state primary, unlike the caucus system, is
that they fightagainst verification, which is why they want electronic
voting. The caucus has no verification, no standards enforcement that thevo=
ter,
him or her self, chooses the candidate ultimately. I guess,since you
never participated in the California Primary system,that you would not
see how blatantly disingenuous the caucussystem is, but I can tell you
for sure, the caucus system looks likeDemocracy leprosy to me! It is

But the event itself is not the problem - it's that the decisions

The entire caucus idea is totally anti-Democracy, it's politics for
naive immature kids! There is no substance to it, once the
kiddies think they've done their part, then the party machine
takes over and does exactly whatever it wants to do! That's
the caucus.

IRV - but the caucus poll is proportional representation, exactly
what Greens say we want! I'd agree, there are some un-democratic
things involve,d but the caucus poll isn't one of them.
