I assume you mean the ACLU chapter.  We are meeting monthly, and we
are working on our group by-laws and affiliation agreement at the next
meeting (22nd).  We have our officers in place and have even had an
open house.  It's a small group, but we hope to make an impact
locally.  We have several folks who are quite active, and one who has
some connection to the state ACLU board, John Riessen.

As for the Green party chapter (Greater Iowa), we are rather dormant.
I have a couple of contacts I have followed up on, but nothing back
from them recently.  I want to do some tabling later this month at the
local mall, mostly to run a voter registration booth and celebrate
that you can now register as Green.
