President Bush stuningly reversed His cancellation of His suspension to
presidential term limits, and he endorsed Republican nominee-in-waiting
John McCain on Wednesday.
"Uhhhhhh.... uhhhh.... he's my only hope," Bush stammered. "In case I
get indi-ted for war crimes! I have tuh have ah joker's wild card, in
case I get outta off 'ss without impeachmint, maybe they could still
indite me, I dunno. So I have ta keep all of my optshuns open on this,
I've certainly been falsely accused of breakin' a lot of laws!"
McCain said that they certainly had been highly competitive rivals during
the 2000 election campaign, but now there is the much more critical role
of preventing not just Hillary Clinton from becoming US President, but
any Democrat! "Supposing the Democrats realize that Obama is in our camp
as a 'black sheep' vote-splitter," worried McCain, and Bush concurring
with him together, "we might get a Kucinich or an Edwards, but it's
Hillary we're most afraid of!"
"John showed incredible cour-ridge, uhhhh... and strength of chariktur
and perr-sevurince in order ta get ta this moment, and that's eggsactly
what I need in a president who will replace me -- somebody who can handle
the tough decizyons of tellling a lie and getting away with it, like me,
somebody who won't flinch in the face of danger in case Hillary beats
Obama and is the Demokrat's candi-date," Bush lamented with McCain in the
Rose Garden.

seemed oblivious that no matter what he could say or do, he could damage
Senator McCain's standing with some political factions, while helping
