We use one paper bag per week for garbage disposal. I'll put my limited trash into something I know is biodegradable rather than a product that is questionably biodegradable. We had some bags that were partly made of corn starch, but still had a significant plastic component. The pitch was that,, instead of having all plastic in a landfill, there would be only small plastic pieces remaining as the corn starch disintegrated. Some consolation!

I already have eight canvas bags, but, if New Pioneer Co-Op will
use the new vegitable resin bags, they make great trash bags for
my kitchen and living room and bathroom trash containers! But
the retailers need to have something on the bags so we know they
will bio-degrade!
