I thought this is a great perspective on why we must all be anti-waradvocat=
es
for peace and diplomacy. We MUST educate our nationand the world that
our role as model for the world has merelyregressed to the "old world"
mentality, and that we are severely guiltyin our behavior before the
world. We anti-war activists MUST be the guiding light to our humanresurrec=

Our nation has been atacking and killing people even before we became
a nation. Even George Washington surveyed indigenous people's lands
and handed the "patent" of the land over to the government and to
himself with rarely, if any, direct negotiations with the tribes.
Our callous disregard for "other peoples" has been the cause of our
war on acquiring territory and economic benefits, which actually
started in America -- which is a vertical hemisphere almost 300 years
OLDER than is our United States OF America -- in the year 1492 with
Cristobol Colon (his REAL name!).
The three-year-long Lewis and Clark "Expedition" from 1804 to 1806
was really an invasion for the purpose of acquiring more territory
owned by other people whether they wanted to become annexed or not.
But, they had no idea what annexation even was, they considered the
explorers, fur traders, and merchant traders as "visitors", which the
caucasians certainly were not!
This mentality has pervaded in the 1840 deviation and development of
our nation interfering in the same way with both Japan and China.
Again, the indigenous people never knew what was really coming until
it all began to tyrannize them. And when any society (nations were
only just then coming into existence as political entities) refused
or rejected being annexed and infiltrated, just as with England and
other colonizing tyrannies, our USA began to attack and defeat those
other societies and peoples.
This brings us to the obvious reality that our invasion in Iraq,
against the admonishments of the United Nations that we were
committing violations of seven international war crime laws and
covenants to do so, is just another of a long history of our STARTING
wars and of our committing violations of sovereignty just so our
economic entities can make more money. And our people just willingly
obey and allow these travesties to go on.
This is why being an anti-war peace advocate who promotes the process
of diplomacy and understanding is so important. We have a huge
problem with over-population of the human species, something the
economic entities rejoice in so their annual reports can report more
sales and profits. But all of the influences of the human species are
but a combined symptom of our overall greed and disrespect for our
place in this biosphere.
Therefore, unless we make the distinct effort to EDUCATE ourselves
and our children, to HOLD ACCOUNTABLE those in our political /
judicial / theistic / educational institutions, we are therefore
condemned to continue in our anti-Democracy, anti-humane,
anti-environmental vile destructive ways, which, of course, includes
war in all of its aspects.
It is up to us, therefore, to advocate knowledge of and respect for
our exercise of human intelligence before we decide anything in
everything we do, as a preliminary forethought about cause and effect
to everything that we do. Our history is that we have emotionally and
propagandistically always beat the drums for illogical extremes that
has always caused great suffering by all life forms on this planet in
the long run. It is time that we start being HUMAN for once!
