To My Sisters and Brothers Here,

Speaking as a former Green Party Delegate from Minnesota (home of the
historic Bloody Friday Teamsters Strike in 1933) Long time Peace, Justice
Media Activist, Union Activist, proud former member of Minnesota Nurses Assoc.
Michigan Nurses Assoc. IVG&ATA Irish Vintners, Grocers and Allied Trades Assoc.
New member of the IWW here in Minneapolis and very proud former member of the
ITGWU Irish Transport and General Workers Union (the trade union of Irish Rebel
James Connelly and one of the original founder of the IWW)

Also an American raised in a Catholic Housing project in northern Ireland (my
parents were both from "the North")and was an active organizer and Street Medic
for the RNC here in St Paul. I am working class to the bone

Many of us activists are now leaving the Green Party. I for one have just about
given up on this Party. For many of us, the sense of disenfranchisement is just
about complete. If you are interested in why that has been the case, feel
free to contact me.

There is much talk of a new political entity being built, on the principles of
actual grassroots democracy. I for one, look forward to that discussion.

Michael Cavlan RN
Minnesota
