Greetings from Georgia,.......
I look forward to once again joining with this merry......most of the
time.....band of Peacemakers..........I am going to make a concerted effort
to join the calls ......(my youngest is in 7th grade and more independent
now)........I would like to report that we participated in the recent
observance commemorating the bombing of Hiroshima and participated in the
Dances of Universal Peace with coalition members of GANE......Georgians
Against Nuclear Proliferation and others at the Carter Center in Atlanta
this month. Local activists are calling for a designation of Atlanta as the
City of Peace given its connection to MLK and Carter's historical efforts in
this regard.
