Ms. McKinney could be someone I might support over Ralph Nader.
I wonder if she is willing to donate or help the Georgia Green Party, which she has refused to join for nearly 6 years.
While she has spurned the Georgia Green Party; Atlanta, Georgia Democratic Party voters, despite her resources, [www.opensecrets.org shows just how much campaign money and help she openly had] have voted for less contraversial figures with the help of the the right wing and anti-palestinian elements of the democratic party.
So I would consider supporting her, but have concerns that she could at the last minute or in some kind of move, gesture towards an "anyone but a republican" policy.
She has not demonstrated a committment to electoral politics unless it were the corporate funded kind of the Democratic National Committee.
I, rightly or wrongly, don't mistrust Ralph Nader in this regard.

I agree with Lynda and Duayne, but am looking for building some kind of unity.
I would unify behind Barbara Lee from Oakland, CA, Cynthia McKinney from Atlanta but to my knowledge they have insisted on being in the democratic party like Kucinich: ergo they both defer to corporate non-solutions and deepen the problem, and no, I don't want to go down that pathway as was done by the lesser-evil folks and their voting for Kerry here in California, a safe-state no less!
At least Ralph Nader is not a democrat, and can provide big name recognition, inspiration, and growth.
Still, Lynda, I am intrigued by the possibility of Cynthia

Forgot what happened the last time Dennis Kucinich ran
for president? He helped neutralize opposition to the
war in Iraq by encouraging progressive voters who
initially backed him to support Senator John Kerry's
bid for the oval office.
Kucinich worked hard to derail the peace movement
within this country by redirecting it's energy back
into supporting Democratic Party candidates who
supported sending even more troops into Iraq and
Afghanistan.
That's Kucinich's role: to co-opt and prevent the
emergence of a movement that would pose a serious
threat to the pro-war Democratic Party. That's why
party leadership continues to tolerate him: he keeps
all the sheep within the fold.
