If Scott McLarty says its true that GPAX can't officially endorse actions and events, is it true that he can threaten, intimidate, and then kick off the media committe state-vetted from state-credentialed parties (no matter how ill-advised, inappropriate, and non-existant more than cyberly is the Alabama Green Party) members like myself?
Myself who wants to help the media committee represent more effectively, accountably, and honestly our green party platform?
If it is true, why does the GPUS media committee continue to play down Peter Camejo, our call for ending all US tax payer military aid to Israel, and always play the poor, weak, and barely distinguisable critique which is not anti-democrat but anti-bush, and worst of all, jumps the gun to assign blame for the London bombings one year ago upon the victims of our government's war, and not at least maintain the truth that the nature of the reasons why those bombings were not were not clear.
[Governments at war often use agent provacateurs or "black operations" in order to squash dissent, as Scott McLarty must intimately be aware of.]
So Scott McLarty, congratulations on getting me banned from the committee you are paid for to preside. You and others like you are truly growing the green party and making our principles more and more effective.
Sarcasm aside, please give us a break or at least stop taking our money and become a volunteer.

This is one of those situations where both
arguments are generally correct.
It's true that GPAX can't officially endorse
actions & events.
However, we can say that GPAX is urging a boycott
of Jerusalem World Pride, as part of the larger
call for a boycott of Israel according to Res.
190. In other words, we present the GPAX
statement publicly not as an official
endorsement, but as a committee recommendation
that's consistent with a GNC resolution.
I'm aiming for a release draft later today on
this and on the Gaza situation in general. I've
been delayed this weekend by having to deal with
news about the murder of a DC Statehood Green
Party candidate for Mayor of DC.
