Dearest GPAXer's,
I sit here with over 5,000 e mails waiting to be read.
A Ballot Access Meeting to kick off our initiative petition tomorrow.
A volunteer starting at Peace House Tulsa Mon. a job to begin on Tues.
Two kids starting school on Mon. etc... etc... etc...
Traveling with my family on not one but Two trips this summer, both within
the past
month, i've had it said to me again and again, "Mom, you're Always on the
computer!"
"Mom, You're always on conference calls" these from my 11 and 12 year olds.
"Mom, Emily and Everett will be grown and gone before you know it!" this
from my 22 yr. old
And so i begin my hiatus from GPAX. I'm resigning as co secretary *Just when
i finally get to BE
CO Secretary again! I may be keeping up with e mails, i might not.
I began with the GP early in '05 and have lived and breathed, first the anmc
then the gpok, then nat'l lists,
then gpax. for the first time in 3 years i took a vacation (actually 2!)
with my family, all of us together.
What i've seen is, my kids need me and have missed me, i've got to
reprioritize and place them higher in my
priorities and that means other things need to be placed further down for
awhile.
My heart and spirit remain, and hopes for growth both within gpax, gpus and
our country.
I'll do all i can closer to home and keep up with nat'l issues as much as
i'm able. I will miss you all.
