Enough Already!

Elaine Brown leads an opposition to war and racism that can unite behind
principles.

Uniting behind calculations based on corporate money and media is not only
WRONG, it is flawed logic that does not allow American Political Discourse
to drive towards moderation of the extremist right wing agenda of war and
other-bashing.

Si Se Puede!

We CAN win if we decide we won't take no more.

Quoting Elaine Brown Below:

"This is a decisive moment for the GP of the U.S., a propitious one, one
demanding strict application of the democratic principles of transparency
and accountability--certainly within the GP. With that in mind, let us be
honest with each other. As a manager of the campaign for McKinney--for whom
he worked when she was a Democratic Congresswoman--Hugh Esco's activism in
the presidential selection process as a Georgia delegate on the National
Committee is in conflict with the necessary neutrality of the process."

Dear Nan and Other Greens,

Thank you for your response. While I'm sure a record can be produced
to support your assertion of this vote re Hugh Esco at Kennesaw, I
don't recall it. Again, I do recall Hugh not being there. My
question, however, went to Hugh's membership in the Georgia Green
Party and the fact that there seems to be no evidence that he is a
Georgia resident or voter, though there is evidence that suggests he
resides/works at once in California and Canada. It would be ironic
that a member of the Green Party of Canada, which lists Hugh's name,
would be voting for the Georgia Green Party. That is, I would assume
residency/voter registration in Georgia would be a minimum
qualification to be a Georgia Green so as to vote on our behalf on the
National Committee. This is a decisive moment for the GP of the U.S.,
a propitious one, one demanding strict application of the democratic
principles of transparency and accountability--certainly within the
GP. With that in mind, let us be honest with each other. As a
manager of the campaign for McKinney--for whom he worked when she was
a Democratic Congresswoman--Hugh Esco's activism in the presidential
selection process as a Georgia delegate on the National Committee is
in conflict with the necessary neutrality of the process.

I am hopeful this issue will be addressed in both word and deed.

Thank you.
