I do not agree with that position on civil rights; and Paul's position on
civil rights 42 years ago is a red herring when discussing war and empire
which is the point here.And given all the misinformation about Paul, where
is his vote on the civil rights legislation?
The greatest weakness of the GP (or one of them) is that it believes all too
much in identity politics or what Ralph calls gonadal politics. The battle
for identity politics has been won - or has not anyone noticed that the Dem
front runners are a Black and a woman - with a Hispanic not far behind.
Forward, identity politicians, to break down that wall which in fact
crumbled long ago. Identity politics is alive and well - as is racism and
sexism. The fight against the latter is in no way equal to the former - or
have you not noticed the politics of HRC and BO?
