If we haven't already, I propose we endorse this project and get our name listed as an endorser.
Then we should encourage Green Party chapters across the country to form visiting teams (when possible) to have a presence, and not just be lost among the progressive Dems and independents.
I have sent the following to our newsletter to go to our GP members in San Francisco.

Occupation Project
Monday, 2/5/07 a national campaign began to occupy congressional offices asking them to vote for bills which pull the troops out immediately and cut the funding for the occupation of Iraq. Congresswoman Pelosi as speaker of the house is in a position of influence. I think it is important to have a Green Party presence since these are our political position much more than the Democratic Party’s There is no risk of arrest, and visiting her office is a much stronger statement than email etc. Please contact jimdorenkott2@yahoo.com if you would like more information.
http://www.gp.org/press/pr_2006_11_13.shtml Green Party position: Greens called on Democrats to adopt the following agenda:
“Bring the troops home now: immediate withdrawal of U.S. military forces from Iraq; cancel further military spending for the occupation…”
