  Up date:  Kennedy's bill still has 6 co-sponsors; no change
                Markey's bill now has 14; up 5
   
  This is too slow; I think these are the ideal bills to push. They are not sense of the congress opinion resolutions. They cut the funding.
   
  True, they do not cut all funding, but that is way off. This is a good precedent setting measure of how really committed these so called anti-war electeds and presidential candidates like Kucinich really are.

  Tom Hayden says in a PDA podcast that the polls show that only 30% of those opposed to the war are for immediate out and 70% are for phased withdrawal up to a year. Thusly, I think the overwhelming support against the escalation is a good foundation for a legislative success.
