Hillary Clinton is calling for increasing troops into Afghanistan, nevermind the lesson taught to Russia and to America by Vietnam.
But nevermind her and the politicians posturing, de-funding is only one part of our struggle.
The anti-terrorist, anti-globalization, and anti-war movement demand all our troops and bases home and impeachment, reparations; and yes, extradition and trials for crimes against humanity.
While, as a North American solidarity activist, I oppose the death penalty for all, even Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove, and the rest of the war promoters, it is still obvious that they have lost their right to live out their lives outside of the likes of San Quentin or Abu Gahraib, now that the military defeat of the US is here and the only option is a political negotiated one.
As everyone knows Bush hears voices in his head claiming to be God.
We owe the world 2, 3, many Bush Fires and burning Bush effigies EVERYWHERE.
Maybe he will resign when he sees God coming out of all the effigies of a burning Bush!
For the memory of our fallen from el salvador, chiapas and palestine, to birmingham, wounded knee and Faluja, and of course the abolitionists killed and hung for fighting for freedom at Harpers Ferry.
American abolitionists --
We are winning!
Never forget the martyrs!

Saturday, January 27 Stop the War Now!
IMPEACH BUSH FOR WAR CRIMES!
By Travis Morales, Washington DC
On January 10, about 70 of us were in front of the White House chanting, "Stop the war, troops out now" as Bush delivered his war speech. You probably heard and saw us, because, after the speech, the cable news shows were broadcasting from the other side of the fence, commenting on how loud we were.
In between chanting we listened to Bush's speech on a TV. More than the cold sent a shiver down my spine as I heard Bush say, “The challenge playing out across the broader Middle East is more than a military conflict. It is the decisive ideological struggle of our time." and "We'll interrupt the flow of support from Iran and Syria. And we will seek out and destroy the networks providing advanced weaponry and training to our enemies in Iraq." And, "And we will work with others to prevent Iran from gaining nuclear weapons and dominating the region."
Right now, today, we are in a decisive moment. Not only is the war on Iraq being escalated; Bush is threatening an attack on Iran. What happens on January 27 can play a major role in determining which direction all of this goes. We need to go all out, not only to bring hundreds of thousands to the streets of DC, but to bring hundreds to work with World Can't Wait and unite thousands and thousands on the spot to raise and take up the demand "Stop the War Now! Impeach Bush for War Crimes!” We are distributing 100,000 copies of our Call, and organizing thousands of people for immediate political action.
Hundreds of thousands must be in DC to decisively repudiate the escalating war against the people of Iraq and the moves toward a regional horrific war in the Middle East. But we know, "People who steal elections and believe they're on a 'mission from God' will not go without a fight." Filling the streets is not enough. This must be joined with a profound intolerance of the present trajectory and a deep sense of purpose to drive out this regime to halt these crimes with a determination not to stop until this happens. This will not happen automatically. World Can't Wait has a huge responsibility to make this happen.
Last November millions of people voted to stop this madness. But the Bush regime is pushing forward, with Cheney disdaining elections as “public opinion polls”. Yes, there is opposition to the "surge" in Congress but the debate has been, and continues to be who has the best strategy for "winning" in Iraq. This war was unjust and illegitimate from the start! We must be clear and win others to understand that only a mass movement of resistance from below can stop this. Does anyone seriously think the U.S. will pull out of Iraq or not at some point attack Iran as long at the Bush regime is in power? Or that this regime will let Congress stand in its way? Bush's January 10 speech should have put these illusions to rest.
Tens of thousands must leave DC on January 27 convinced that war crimes must not be tolerated, that the torture, spying, crimes against humanity and all the rest must not be allowed to become the new normalcy, and that by all legal and moral standards, there is no way this regime should be allowed to remain in office. World Can’t Wait is determined to organize thousands to get on a mission to drive out the Bush regime, making the demand for investigations, impeachment, indictments spread among millions, quickly.
We do not get many chances like this. People in Iraq and the world are depending on us. What we do in the next six days will make a huge difference in getting people to Washington to protest, and then in making something decisive follow.
