Hi,
Congratulations to Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente on
winning the Green Party nomination. I am supporting Nader/Gonzalez but
that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate the historical significance
of their victory.=20
Come November our two campaigns will have
galvanized and organized 2 different groups of people who will be able
to combine our efforts to push the next president in a progressive and
green direction.
Sadly, some of our Green Party electeds have
chosen to endorse Obama. One would think they might be re-considering
that especially after Obama's votes to fund the occupation and wars
through next July, and FISA among others. Given the widespread anger
and disappointment at the cave-in (Clinton voted against it - how bad
is that?) one would hope that the Green electeds might use that
opportunity to withdraw their endorsement.
In solidarity,
Jim
PS By the way,=A0 I have heard Matt Gonzalez say on more than one occasion =
how much he admires Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente=0A=0A=0A
