[Pnp-wg] proposal to eliminate a "no candidate" outcome

Greens,
I am following the debate with interest. It looks to me like Greenfield is
dominating the discussion, but he seems at least to be trying to argue
logically. He is clearly a strong partisan for his position and seems to
have all day in which to send posts - I wish I did.
However, on a subject very related to the current discussion about
representation, I have a proposal to make.
I want this group to consider a proposal that the national convention of the
Green Party of the United States will *always* produce a candidate for
President.
The result of the adoption of this proposal would be to make it impossible
ever again to have anyone try to stop the GPUS from running it *own*
candidate in a Presidential election.
I'd like to hear from everyone on this proposal, including, and especially,
Mr. Greenfield.
