Thank you, Gary, for your work in organizing this consensus, and thanks to 
all of you for your vote of confidence.  Although, to contradict Phil a 
bit, I'm hopeful that I don't bring an "exciting perspective".  I think 
the excitement will be provided by all of you, through your exciting 
ideas.  I feel that if I'm doing my job properly, I should be and will 
endeavor to be entirely boring.  Fortunately, I've had a great deal of 
experience in that field.

I've contacted Elizabeth off-line, and I'm looking forward to her ideas in 
helping us to get started.
