Show them we are outraged!
Bush is our president - like it or not - we are responsible for him. Many
around the world surely wonder why we let him do what he does. Come show the
President and the rest of the world that he does not have the support of the
people.
If that's not enough incentive ... Antonia Juhasz spoke on campus last week
testifying to the atrocities of this administration. In her view the US peace
movement is specifically the reason Bush has not attacked Iran. Our voice shows
this President that the country can stomach no more!
Keep up the fight!

GATHER AT THE CAPITOL BUILDING
at 4:30 p.m. to prepare for a Rally and
Mass Media Event at 5:00 p.m.
On October 5, Austin will join over 150 cities across America in staging a
mass movement of repudiation against the Bush regime. At 5:00, we will
unfurl a giant banner with messages on them from local groups and
supporters. At the center will be the message "ENOUGH!" There will also be a
variety of compelling local speakers (tentative list includes
representatives from Texans for Peace, Travis County Coordinated Campaign,
NARAL Pro-Choice Texas, Austin Community College, UT, "Whoopsy" Magazine,
and more), and music provided by Funk Shui. Come join us to hold up signs,
distribute information, make some noise, and show Texas, the U.S., and the
world that this regime does not represent us and we WILL drive it out!
