We can't afford a third party now? We barely have a second party. I
would love to see Perry disappear, but who do we get instead? Another
politico who has to spend most of his/her time raising money and then once
he/she does is beholden to the donors. What's the real difference?
We can put off developing a third party indefinitely, but then we have
only ourselves to blame for our misery. And yes, the Green Party may lack
sophistication and political tactical skills, but we've got to start
somewhere. Change is rarely smooth or pretty.
