Please join us in honoring
Congressman Ron Paul
for his tireless effort in defense of civil liberties.
Ron Paul is a committed and courageous Congressman. He has been more steadfast in his resistance to the Bush Administration’ s attack on Constitutional liberties than many Democrats. He has also been a strong voice against the war on Iraq and the PATRIOT ACT. In addition, we have not forgotten that Ron Paul had the integrity to vote against the dreadful Military Commissions Act of 2006. For these reasons, he will be honored with a Defender of Habeas Corpus Award at a town hall meeting.
Also, civil rights attorney Greg Gladden will be recognizing Lee Loe for her work in originating the Defender of Habeas Corpus Award and for her lifetime commitment to peace and justice causes.
Please join us for this exciting reunion. A Q&A session will also take place and refreshments will be served. Admission is FREE.
