I would be happy to donate $10, but I would like an explanation as to why doing that "... can guarantee Texas' place on the ballot for our candidates."  Is it because it will be used to hire signature solicitors?  Or something else?  Hey, I take this stuff seriously, please let me know.

The time has come for the Green Party of Texas to return to the
ballot! We've been fighting Texas' draconian ballot access laws hard
in the legislature. This year, the Green Party of Texas is starting
its ballot access drive early, and we need *your* help at
http://txgreens.org/ontheballot.

If we can raise just $10 from each of 10,000 people, we can guarantee
Texas' place on the ballot for our candidates.
