[Texgreen] Stop yet another senseless state murder: Joseph Nichols

About Joseph Nichols:

 

Massoud Nayeri is making a monster banner to protest the execution of 
Joseph Nichols and we will display it at the Harris County Courthouse,  
1201 Franklin Street, starting at 2pm tomorrow (Tuesday).  We will 
remain at the courthouse until 7pm, so come even if you can't be there 
at 2pm.  


We will put out a press release and Hitaji Aziz will announce all this 
on her KPFT radio show, Earth 101, starting at 10am tomorrow (Tuesday).  
After tomorrow, we will make plans for Wednesday. 


Continue to call the Governor's office at 800-252-9600 and ask him to 
spare Joseph's life (apparently is is difficult to get through on the 
Governor's 512 number).  I will send you a more detailed message if you 
choose to fax the Governor,  but the the essence of your telephone 
message should be:


*"Governor Perry, Stop the execution of Joseph Nichols.  He did not 
commit murder.    The man who committed the murder has already been 
executed. The District Attorney changed his story in order to get the 
death penalty on Joseph.  This is extreme prosecutorial misconduct and 
you have the responsibility to correct this error.*"
