Fundamental rule: there is as much difference between the Democrats and the
Republicans as there is between the American Football Conference and the
National Football Conference.  Both are ass-deep in the old politics of
money, power, and influence; both are thoroughly corrupt, bought and paid
for by the big lobbies, and beholden to those who pay for their return to
power, not the people.  (Did you know that there's a higher recidivism rate
among Congress critters these days than there was in the Politburo at the
height of the Soviet Union?)

Case in point - Barak Obama.  He LOOKS progressive, but where's all the
money it takes to run this aggressive a campaign, this early, coming from?

it comes time to decide middle east policy?  His donors, like AIPAC.  Any

support, and often even ridicule (example: Dennis Kucinich).
