shared a secret with us. He acknowledged ( admitted?) that, as a member
of the Senate Intelligence Committee, he was privy to top secret
intelligence before the attack on Iraq that contradicted what the White
House was selling to the public."

Today Ray McGovern, on Democracy Now with Amy Goodman said, in response
to Dick Durbin's claim that he was "sworn to secrecy":

"Well, he was sworn to defend the Constitution of the United States from
all enemies, both foreign and domestic. And that's what he ought to have
done. Classification is to protect sources and methods. It's not to
protect presidents."

I think we must put out a national call for all the grassroots to demand
Dick Durbin, who failed to speak out before the war, speak out now.

Demand of Dick Durbin that he call for an end to the war in Iraq, by
cutting off funding for the war in Iraq.
