Latest news about the H.Res 333 introduced in the House today from
Washington For Impeachment:

Subject: Friends -- a great day for democracy!

It is with great hope and joy that I report that today, Dennis
Kucinich introduced Articles of Impeachment, HRes. 333, against Dick
Cheney in the House of Representatives!

It was played on C-Span, and the Articles read in full. Kucinich asked
for a roll call vote on Steny Hoyer's motion to table the bill. The
Representatives are voting as I write. So far, 77 Democrats have voted
against tabling the resolution. 156 Republicans have voted against
tabling the resolution. At last count 151 Domcrats voted FOR tabling
the resolution, and only 78 Republicans voted for tabling the
resolution. Please check the final numbers for accuracy.
http://www.c-span.org .

IT LOOKS LIKE A VICTORY FOR DENNIS KUCINICH AT THIS POINT.
The vote to table did not carry. It looks like there will be a vote in
the
next two days.

John Bradach, attorney from Portland, has been representing us in DC.
He has visited Kucinich's office, and the offices of Representatives
from Oregon and Washington State to lobby for HRes. 333. John observed
proceedings in the House today, and will attend Dennis Kucinich's
press conference at 3:00 p.m. EST.

Kucinich Introduced Resolution, Response from
Leadership Required Within Two Days
Submitted by davidswanson on Tue, 2007-11-06 19:06.

Rep. Jose Serrano chaired the session. Congressman Kucinich introduced
H Res 333 and read the three charges against Cheney contained therein.
Serrano said that a time would be designated within the next two days
for the bill to be considered. At that time, anything could happen,
including a vote on the resolution, a vote on tabling the resolution,
or sending the resolution to committee (potentially with a time limit
for a response). Rep. Steny Hoyer has reportedly said he will move to
table the resolution. We have somewhere between 10 mins and 48 hours
to let our Congress Members know to vote No on tabling, Yes on
impeachment. See: http://impeachcheney.org .

Rep. Danny Davis Cosponsors Cheney Impeachment
Submitted by davidswanson on Tue, 2007-11-06 17:40

Congressman Danny Davis has signed on as the 22nd cosponsor and 23rd
total Congress member to support H Res 333: http://impeachcheney.org

Please continue to put pressure on all of our Representatives to
Congress, especially members of the Judiciary Committee. Please also
contact Pelosi, Hoyer, Nadler and Conyers. Toll free numbers:

Please let Congress know that the rule of law is not controversial.
Dick Cheney must be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors. He has
violated his oath of office and deceived the people of the United States.

MORE REPUBLICANS THAN DEMS HAVE VOTED NOT TO TABLE THE RESOLUTION.
SHAME ON THE DEMOCRATS -- WHO'S DIVIDING THE PARTY, NANCY PELOSI!

Anything can happen. Take a breath and take action now.

Peace and Impeach,
Linda Boyd
