[Texgreen] Fair Elections Now Act - Action Opportunity

During the Fair Elections Action Week on November 12-16, we will call on
Congress to end the corrupting influence of money in politics. Actions and
events will take place all across the country and you can be a part of the
movement.

Here's how:

    * Sign the Petition - Add your name and become a citizen co-sponsor of the
Fair Elections Now Act, if you haven't already.
    * Gather Signatures - Encourage others to add their name to our coalition
petition for Fair Elections Now! You can tell your friends by e-mail, or print
it out and collect signatures. Let's show Congress that the American people want
elections to be about voters, not dollars.
    * Write About It - Send a letter to the editor about the need for publicly
funded elections. It's easy to send a letter now by using our automated service.
Do you blog? Let us know if you blog about Fair Elections or get published in
your local paper and we'll highlight your piece on our blog and Web site!

Together, we can send a strong message to Congress: it's time for public funding
of elections. We'll be in touch again during the Fair Elections Action Week, but

spreading the word now.
