Everyone knows that the federal gov't doesn't keep their books straight.  That
no business could legally exist as the gov't does.  But most don't know how bad
things really are.  

I can't believe that there's not an outcry just off the irresponsibility of so
much debt and the waste of all our money.  When anyone in their right mind would
not proceed to carry so much debt and not alter their lifestyle or income. 
Regardless of how important the programs are, no one would waste that much money
and pay that much interest on debt.  I can't believe we tolerate that, but it
appears that it is much worse ...
