I was in Houston this past weekend ( attending the Fotofest ) where I got to tune into Democracy Now on their Pacifica station KPFT 90.1fm. She had someone on who was an expert on set up political scandals. On Switzer's situation, he remarked that it was interesting just as he was about to expose some big new development with the predatory lending racket. Mike Malloy was furious over all this ( the $200 billion dollar bailout ) the other night. And now Greg Palast wraps it all up in his must read, "Elliot's mess" ( link below ). Really, it's a must read that perfectly spells it all out. Thank God we have real journalists like Palast and Amy Goodman.
And below is the Nation's Katrina Vanden Heuvel and Robert Sheer weighing in. This is HUGE, and takes the cake even with all the Bush crime family has done in the last 7 years...
